Snowshoeing

Getting bored of the great cozy indoors, we decided to do something outdoors for our MLK day off. Mitch came up with the brilliant idea of doing a day snowshoeing trek up in the White Mountains. Within hours we had a car and snowshoes rented and 5 other souls eager to come along. The weather was a bit on the chilly side (9°F for the high), but it was a beautiful, clear day with lots of fresh snow from a few days before. We ended up hiking to Lonesome Lake and the nearby AMC hut. It was absolutely beautiful. Check out the pictures if you don't believe us.
