Defended

Great news!  After a 45 minute presentation and 1 hour of questioning, Mitch has successfully defended his dissertation on "Germline Genetic Variation and Prostate Cancer Risk".  Mitch is thrilled to have completed his doctoral work at HSPH and Bekah couldn't be more proud of him.  Special thanks to all of you for your support and kind words of encouragement along the way.  The above picture is of Mitch (second from left) along with his advisor (middle) and research committee (everyone else) celebrating after the defense.

Yep, he is really that old.  Thanks for all the birthday wishes!  As always, Bekah really pulled through and made a delicious cheesecake.
