Red Sox 14, Yankees 1

After an embarassing 20-11 loss to the Yankees the night before, we didn't know what to expect from the Red Sox in today's game. It was a hot, humid, and sunny afternoon as we entered Fenway Park. Our hard earned tickets were for right field bleacher seats up on the 50th row. As we baked in the sun from our sky-high perch, we watched as the Red Sox competed against the Yankees. The Sox took an early lead by scoring 3 runs in the first inning and 4 in the second. They maintained their lead with 7 additional runs in the following innings, while the Yankees were only able to put up a solo home run. The afternoon ended with a 14-1 victory for the Red Sox. It was an exciting game shared with Anna and Kristin at our neighborhood ballpark. Of the Red Sox games we have attended, we are now 3 for 3!
