This weekend, we and a bunch of friends took a trip up to Gloucester, MA to go whale watching.
Gloucester (pronounced: ɡlɒstər) is small seaside town about 45 minutes northeast of Boston. We enjoyed a lunch outside in the beautiful weather before heading out to sea. It was about an hour boat ride to where the whales were. The
tour was a "guaranteed-to-see-whales" tour, and whales we saw! In total, we followed around 4 whales. We watched them breach, trumpet, splash around, and dive. One of the whales, named Niles, even had a calf that was nursing and following her around. It was a very memorable trip and highly recommended.
